Younger people, take note, this is what it looks like when someone is winning at life.
Maria, a kind-hearted grandmother, celebrated her 89th birthday recently at home in Brazil. However, it was far from a stuffy affair.
It was a celebration that most people can only dream of.
Maria, you see, has a lot of pets.
Grandma Maria lives in her home with her daughter, her daughter’s family, and a slew of lovely dogs – a total of ten. Maria is the embodiment of kindness and love in their eyes. And she makes certain that all of her dogs get enough.
“The house is very busy!” Maria’s daughter, Vitoria Abencoada, told The Dodo. “She enjoys sharing her home with animals.” She enjoys cuddling with them.”
So it seemed only natural that when Maria’s birthday arrived, all those pups would throw a party.
As the celebration began, the dogs joined Maria at the table. Of course, no birthday would be complete without a birthday song.
Grandma Maria was glowing because she was surrounded by so much affection.
“The dogs loved participating in Grandma’s party!” Abencoada explained. “They are treated as members of the family here.” They take part in everything.”
There was also great cuisine, including goodies for both people and pups.
Grandma Maria has no doubt had her fair share of joys and celebrations during her many decades on Earth. Perhaps there are too many to count.
But, because to her love of animals — and their love for her — it only keeps getting better after 89 years.
